Seeing the oversold Palm Springs market beginning to recover, combined with the high demand and pricing of mid-century vacation rentals in the market and low inventory for well designed completed properties, we determined there were multiple exit strategies with room for building equity from the renovations and adding square footage, plus any appreciation would compound returns. The project was a success with all of the above and we helped preserve this diamond in the rough of Palm Springs real estate.
Our Wade Ritchie designed house included a new cantilevered roof to help open our view of the San Jacinto mountains and still preserve the mid-century feel of the home.
By adding transom windows and steel beams to provide added support to the higher ceilings, we were able to add a major view premium to the property.
The design details from proper staging was critical in the new age of digital buying. Providing a vision was key to the Palm Springs market and no detail was left out. From true mid-century furniture and antiquities, to original artwork to the classic Mercedes-benz sportwagen, the property provided the right look for our buyers.
